MORA is a suite of programs for studying the wave-induced motion of andloads on offshore structures and moored vessels in the sea. It isorganized into logical modules such as graphical model generator, a wave-structure interaction program (boundary-element) and a number ofpostprocessor programs. A more recent feature of the program allows itsuse for the calculation of the motion of ships and other vessels withforward speed. MORA has been designed to be as general as possiblehaving the capability to treat three-dimensional structures of arbitraryshape and composed of a large-displacement hull and slender members. Itis primarily used by the offshore industry and particularly the offshoreoil industry.
